Style, motion, and letter effects
Once a layer is on the frame, control how it looks, moves, and how often it appears — this isn't its own layer type, it's a control surface for the ones you already added.
This page isn't about adding a new layer — it's the shared strip of controls that appears below the frame whenever a layer's settings are open, covering any layer you've already added from picture-in-picture camera through landing content.
Look presets
Four ready-made styles — glass, neon, solid, no-backdrop — restyle the selected layer with one click. A checkbox spreads the chosen look across every layer in the scene at once, so the frame reads as one piece. A preset isn't "remembered" as a preset; it just sets the same fields you can then tweak by hand afterward.

A cycle control sets the full round trip, from 1 to 20 seconds.
Why the motion list differs per layer
A live layer's motion is drawn by the server as a formula inside the frame — free to compute, but it can only express a shift (plus opacity for captions). Scale and slide motion are drawn by the browser and baked into a loop, which is why only objects (not live layers) get them.
The bottom-most live layer doesn't drift
It's the frame's own background — the panel says so rather than silently ignoring the setting. Move the layer above the base source, or put motion on a layer above it instead.
Letter styling (text-and-timer layers only)
Five styles plus a shine toggle: flat, outline (a dark outline readable over any background, even bright skin), shadow (a soft offset shadow lifting the letters off the frame), depth (letters extrude into a darker shade of their own color — never black, so it doesn't read as dirt), and neon (a glowing tube with a soft outer halo). The shine toggle sweeps a highlight across the caption every three seconds and combines with any style.
Costs nothing extra
Letter styling is drawn with the same letters as the caption itself, in a few extra passes — no baking, no added delay.
How often a layer appears
By default a layer stays on screen for the whole broadcast. Turning on scheduling exposes two controls: how often the layer appears, and how long it stays visible each time — anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes for the period. A scheduled layer's row in the list shows its own cadence so it doesn't look like it silently vanished.
Scheduling costs nothing between appearances
The server simply doesn't draw the layer while it's hidden — no re-composition, no extra load, and a baked object isn't re-rendered either; the same ready-made picture is just shown or hidden.
The bottom-most live layer can't be scheduled off
Hiding it means showing the viewer black, so the panel doesn't allow it. Put the layer you want to schedule above the base source.
