Go live from an encoder
One RTMP address for OBS, Moblin, Larix, or any encoder with an "RTMP URL" field.
Stream's receiver is plain RTMP and does not care who publishes — anything that can push RTMP works: a phone app (Moblin, Larix Broadcaster, PRISM Live Studio), desktop software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs, vMix, XSplit), or dedicated hardware with an "RTMP URL" field.
Open the Stream tab → RTMP button in the header, and copy the address. The key is already inside it, so it's one string — no separate server/key fields needed unless your encoder specifically wants them apart (some do; the card shows both values separately too).
Paste it into your encoder's address field and start publishing.
The preview window comes alive within a couple of seconds, no page refresh needed. The panel now shows signal — it's receiving your feed, but nothing has reached any platform yet.
Fix your framing or caption if you need to, then hit "Go on air" in the cockpit. Only this step fans the feed out to your armed platforms — see Choose which platforms receive your stream if nothing's armed yet.
Publishing from two places at once isn't supported
The same address works from your phone or from OBS, but only one publisher owns the stream at a time — whoever connects last wins.
How to verify it worked
The preview panel shows the live incoming picture along with resolution, frame rate, and real bitrate. If the picture stutters and the bitrate in the panel dips at the same moment, the bottleneck is your uplink; if bitrate holds steady and the picture still breaks up, it's the encoder device.
If it doesn't work
See Bitrate and picture quality and Signal vs. on-air.

Go live from the browser camera
No app to install — publish straight from the browser, and switch devices mid-stream without dropping the show.
