Rotate your stream key
Your address leaked into a screenshot or a screen share? Rotate the key before anyone else can use it.
The stream key is the credential half of your RTMP address — masked by default in the panel for exactly this reason. Rotate it whenever the address could have reached someone else's screen: a screen share, a screenshot, a chat message.
Rotate it
Use the "rotate key" control next to the address card. The old address stops being accepted immediately — there's no grace period.
Copy the new address into your encoder right away
Because the old key stops working the instant you rotate, your encoder's next attempt to (re)connect with the old address gets an auth refusal. Update the app before you need to go live again, not after.
How to verify it worked
Try publishing with the old address — it should be refused. Publish with the new one — it should connect and show signal in the preview as usual.
