Send a priced (PPV) message
Attach vault media, set a price the fan will actually pay, and mark part of it as a free preview without losing the lock or mis-pricing the send.
Attach media and turn on paid content
Attach one or more vault items, then switch on Paid content in the composer. OnlyFans requires at least one attachment on a priced message — the composer disables send and tells you so if you switch pricing on with nothing attached yet.
Use the suggested price, or set your own
The panel shows a suggested price computed from this fan's real lifetime spend and their resolved country's purchasing power — not a generic tier guess. Tap the suggestion to apply it, or type your own. OnlyFans bounds every priced message to $3–$200; anything outside that range is flagged before you can send.
Where the suggestion comes from
A fan with no spend and no resolved country gets a neutral starting price (labeled accordingly, not "from the fan's data") — this is deliberately different from a wrong number: the panel would rather say "I don't know yet" than guess.
Mark a preview, if you want one
If you're sending more than one attachment, you can mark one as a preview — it shows before the fan unlocks the rest. A preview must be one of the attached files; removing an attachment that was marked as a preview un-marks it automatically.
Send
Send goes through the same firewall + engine pipeline as a plain reply. Two things are specific to a paid send:
- the message is only billed as PPV when both Paid content is on and the price is above $0 — turning the toggle on and leaving the price empty ships as an ordinary free message, byte for byte;
- a paid send with a genuine slot conflict or a firewall refusal is never cleared from the composer automatically, because clearing it would silently discard a message you still believe went out.
Content already sent to this fan is flagged, not blocked
The composer marks attachments this fan has already received, but doesn't stop you from sending them again — re-sending a file to nudge a fan toward unlocking it is a legitimate move, not a mistake to prevent.
What's next
- Check a fan's spend before you pitch — see the full economics card before you pick a price.
- PPV composer money bugs — the three failure modes this flow guards against.
