Reconnect a lost account
Restore a connection for an account that already exists in your workspace, without losing its history.
Goal
Fix a connection that dropped — without creating a duplicate account or losing the history already attached to it.
Steps
- Follow the "OnlyFans connection lost" banner wherever it appears (Accounts list, account card). It already knows which account lost its connection and carries that account's site identifier with it.
- Following the banner takes you to the Accounts page with a
?reconnect=<external_account_id>parameter, which opens the reconnect dialog for that exact account automatically. - Complete the native login the same way as connecting a new OnlyFans account — the difference is entirely in which account row the result attaches to.
- Once the dialog closes, the parameter is removed from the address — reload or "back" won't reopen a dialog you already dismissed.
How to verify it worked
The account's status returns to connected and sync resumes from where it left off — no new account appears in the list.
If it doesn't work
- Don't start a fresh "Add account" instead. That path is for accounts that have never been connected; using it for an already-known account risks a second, disconnected row instead of restoring the first.
- If the reconnect dialog doesn't recognize the account, the site's own account identifier may not match what TEASE has on file — this needs an operator to check the registry row directly rather than retrying.
What's next
If the account was flagged as lost because of a proxy or IP issue rather than a stale session, see Rotate an account's egress proxy.
